| 英文描述 | A syndrome of progressive paraparesis associated with vacuolation and degeneration of the spinal cord was reported in South Africa. It occurred almost exclusively in 2-4 month old Dorper and Dorper cross-bred lambs. Several flock outbreaks have been reported. Liver copper levels are normal. It is suspected that this might be due to the plant CHRYSOCOMA TENUIFOLIA, but experimental feeding trials did not reproduce the disease. Signs were irreversible. |
